Fletcher Reede
(Jim Carrey) is a lawyer who has this chronic habit of lying
to people. Thanks to his son's birthday wish, Fletcher
can't tell a lie for 24 hours. Needless to say, in
Fletcher's line of work, this doesn't make life easy.
He has to keep his wife from taking their son away from him,
and at the same time keep his job.

I love this movie!! Not since the first
season of "In Living Color" have I laughed so hard
at one of Jim Carrey's performances. I almost cried
laughing at the boardroom scene, and when he was trying to
'convince' the pen that it was red. An additional
treat for viewers is the outtakes at the end of the
movie. They are HILARIOUS!! More than that was
there was heart in this film. Despite Fletcher's
shortcomings, he really loved his son, and would move heaven
and earth for him. The father-son bonding was a good
strength for the film. Actually, I got go see it again... by:
